Shinnosuke and Jason opened the post office yesterday. [THAT WAS A DISASTER] Xion and I plan to open the gunsmith later this week.

That will be three buildings. We'll still have nine more to go. It's an impressive task, but if we all split up into groups who then each search a different building. . .

[yeah that's a good way for almost the entire population to get wiped out]

Wait, what? [UH.] Milla, take somebody else. Why Xion? [THIS SMALL BEAN?] Or send somebody besides you two? Have you not noticed what kind of stuff happens when we break into these buildings?

[...like, he sounds panicked but at the same time he's a little interested because those buildings are, in fact, tempting.]

It was her idea. She was very insistent about it. I believe her stronger than she may seem at first glance, so I wasn't about to talk her out of it.

We both know it'll be dangerous, but we plan on taking proper precautions.

She's much stronger than she seems, but she's also recovering from last week. She might not even be thinking clearly. [Like. He would know, considering his own mess of a thought process right now.]

What kind of precautions?

She is recovering, yes. But sometimes, action is what helps those to overcome pain and suffering.

We'll both arm ourselves before we go, and properly scrutinize the building before we enter. Neither of us intend to barge in recklessly.

That's better than how Jason and Shinnosuke handled things. [He sighs heavily.] Just try to get out with as little damage as possible? We don't know what kind of stuff is in the gunsmith.

Probably. Just stay alive, okay? If you're really the one who can help the Bounty Leader we need you to stay on your feet. And Xion...she's young. I don't want her out of commission and in a position she'll be unable to defend herself, you know?

I don't know. Maybe I'm not giving her enough credit.

Of course. After everything I guess...I'm just concerned about a lot. It doesn't matter, I know you're doing what needs to be done.

[And as they near the homestead...] I'm gonna check some stuff out, but can you meet me back here tonight? I'm going to talk to the leader and get an agreement for a meeting.

Concern is understandable, considering the dangerous conditions we're living in. It's a natural reaction.

[at his question, she nods]

Of course. I hope they're amenable to meeting with me. I imagine they will be, but. . .

[well, she doesn't know what kind of person the Bounty Leader is. maybe they're super paranoid??? who knows]

It...will take a little convincing, I know that much. But they trust me, I think? I think I can make this work. It's the only option we have.

And thank you again for trusting me, Milla. [There's a half-smile, but there's one more thing.] What do we do about Noctis?

Watch him for now. See if he does or says anything that gives away his role in this game, if he has one. I'll keep you updated if you do the same for me.
