[Letter to Shinnosuke]
Shinnosuke,
I know you probably don't think the same way, but I consider you a friend. An ally. Your absence at our meetings is noticed. The room seems a little bigger without you there, a hole occupying the empty space that was previously yours. Nevertheless, I look forward to the day we see each other again. I know we'll see you again.
Tell Sara and Higekiri that parts of their letters came through. I'm not sure we have the whole picture yet, but I think we might be on the right track. I hope we're on the right track. I can't shake the feeling that we're all missing something big.
We aren't giving up yet. As difficult as this road has been, and however many mistakes we have made, please try to have faith in us. I know that's a difficult thing for me to ask, but I don't think you would have willingly worked with us if you didn't have the capacity for it somewhere in your heart.
